Knock your words into shape. Everyone needs a heavy-weight in the fight against bad copy.
I’m a copy writer, copy editor and proofreader — and, I’ll be honest, a bit of an English teacher still at heart.
After a few years teaching secondary-school English in the UK, I became senior lecturer at the University of Salzburg, where I taught advanced writing skills and grammar to teacher trainers and undergrads, which was both a challenge and a delight.
I have master’s in professional writing from University College Falmouth, but unlike many writers, I have no desire to write a novel – if there is a novel in me, it should probably stay there!
Mostly, I prefer helping others with their words. Over the last ten years, I’ve written, as a ghost, for several big names as well as many startups, small businesses and individuals:
I write online and offline and have a strong sense of what works in both platforms. Whether my clients use my words daily or weekly, once a month or once a year, they all keep coming back.
I’m professional, punctual and a bit of a perfectionist, so get in touch if you have anything to be written, rewritten or just jostled into place.
